Cardan Shafts are available in a complete range of sizes for off-highway and industrial applications. We take pride in working closely with customers to understand the demands of the end product and develop shafts optimised to the true requirements.
Alongside a wide variety of industry standard sizes and connections, we also have the ability to deliver shafts with custom flange and stub end configurations, ensuring that all components in the power transmission system can be linked. With a global manufacturing footprint, we can supply Cardan Shaft products worldwide. Aftermarket support is a key element to the service offering and full assemblies can be supplied for the complete product range. In addition, an extensive network of service facilities allows for the repair and remanufacture of all Cardan Shaft products.
The combination of experience, in process industries ranging from food production to steel and paper mills, in delivering power from stationary engines, electric motors and turbines, and meeting the demands of the rail industry, has enabled Uni-Cardan® to become No. 1 in European service.
- Small series – for low speed applications with torque capacity up to 2500 Nm
- Medium series – for general engineering, torque capacity from 2,000 to 45,000 Nm

All levels of repair are available – re-balance existing shaft, replace UJ, complete overhaul, and new replacement. Today, Uni-Cardan® provides total support, parts and service for all types of shaft from its network of Uni-Cardan® Service workshops.
Uni-Cardan® offers cardan shafts with single or double universal joints – in standard and special designs, including flange, splined end yoke or splined shaft connections. The product range extends from light series shafts to heavy-duty series industrial shafts.

We offer a variety of shafts over a wide range of torques that are configured for standard DIN and XS flanges.
Shafts are available in either service free or re-lubeable configurations, and are directly interchangeable with industry standard products.
SAE ROUND BEARING Cardan Shafts
We offer a complete line of conventional Round Bearing drive shafts and components available as maintenance-free, permanently lubricated or fully re-lubable configurations. These versatile, heavy-duty off-highway u-joints and components are directly interchangeable with common industry sizes.
